The contaminated poultry products were found to have been shipped across Oklahoma, Arkansas, Alabama, Georgia, Pennsylvania, Arizona, California, and Minnesota. The health officials have thus advised the people to look into their freezers and have these products either thrown away or exchanged. The poultry products imprinted with the establishment numbers P-1949, P-486, or P-5837 are advised to take the necessary action. Until now, no reports regarding ill health have been reported. On a similar note, Simmons Prepared Foods Inc. has announced that the operations have started mounting up at its latest $300-million plant located in western Benton County. The plant sized 315,000 square feet has shown a huge escalation on the production scale and the plant is expected to reach its full production in January 2020. The manufacturing unit, safety, product quality, and hygiene are the basic factors that the plants are focusing on. By 2020, the plant will transition its employee number from 900 to 1,200 and could also reach up to 2,300 by 2022. The annual payroll is expected to reach $86 Million by 2022.
